Patterned Palazzo

Wearing; Sportsgirl pants, top and sunglasses & Novo heels

With the hectic wind of today, I thought it would be a good time to show you guys these palazzo pants I bought a while ago. Of course the wind never blows when you want it to. I saw these pants awhile ago and the pattern is what immediately attracted me to them. Sort of like a dark floral pattern. When they went on sale, my friend and I treked it all over the city to find them in my size. Truthfully I have never worn these out (John hates them) but I am still so much in love with the colours and pattern that I'm thinking of turning them into shorts. What do you think? xx

Beautifully Neutral

Dotti blazer, Agent Nintynine singlet, Supre shiny tights, RMK heels & J-Line Designs bullet necklace

This is an outfit I styled for my sister a little white ago. She wanted something that was casual but still a little fancy at the same time. I went for a neutral palette for subtlety. What do you think? xx

Gypsy

Wearing; Dotti blazer, top & headpiece, Bardot skirt & Oasis Fran boots

Wore this Friday night to a friend's white party in the city. About one hour before I was suppose to leave I realised I had nothing white to wear (even though I swear I always buy clothes in white??) so I styled a striped skirt with a white shirt and hoped they would be happy. Added the headpiece for a little oomph. I was told I looked like a native American Indian as well as an Egyptian but I think I looked like a wannabe gypsy. Hoped everyone's weekend was good. xx

Red & Stripes

Wearing; Vera Mode blouse from Asos, Bardot skirt & Oasis Fran boots

Really quick & busy week. Studying Monday and Tuesday, spent 10hours at uni on Wednesday and did a night flight yesterday, and rushing around today to make sure I was on time to get into the city tonight (it's not looking good...) And this heat! I don't do too well in the sun and I felt like I was going to melt today even though it's barely summer!

I wore this outfit at a friend's 21st the other week. I love this red blouse and I got it at such a good price from Asos. Paired it with another good bargain from Bardot. I love the general boldness of the red mixed with the black and white stripes. Topped off with mauve coloured nails. Hope everyone has a marvelous weekend. xx

Fran

This boots are one of the things that make me happy. I've been looking for ankle boots for a while and was so glad that I came across these perfect Oasis Fran ankle boots from Asos. When I told my mum I was going to buy them (I usually tell my mum about things that excite me) she said "Why? It's nearly the end of winter". I responded by stating they are summer boots but Mum came back saying "Summer boots?! There is no such thing. It's too hot in the summer here, your feet will swell up while wearing them!" Nevertheless I bought the boots and intend to prove her wrong. They are so comfy and I wear them casually and when I'm going out too. Now just to get through the summer... xx

Monochromic Coral

Wearing; Cue blazer, Dotti top, Supre tights, Oasis boots & vintage beads.

Excuse me for the photo overload. I didn't manage to get a proper full outfit shot this time so I'm hoping all these pictures will atleast give you some idea. This was for a friend's 21st birthday dinner at the Blackbird Cafe in Darling Harbour. I went for a monochromic look with a pop of colour. Found this coral lipstick hidden in my make up drawer, and I'm finding that it's good for both casual and dressy situations. Such a good night sipping on sangria and house cocktails. I had my year 12 formal after party at the same place, so all the memories came flooding back and we started to reminicise. I feel like these past three years at uni have gone so fast but at the same time high school feels decades ago.
Oh the artwork above is from Janalli train station. If you're ever there take a look at it. I found myself quite mesmerised soaking up all the detail that was put into it. xx

Nowhere

(Images sourced from nelly.com)

So Elin Kling has just released her first collection from new label Nowhere and it is (not surprisingly) stunning. The collection boasts unique and very wearable pieces all with that special Elin touch. And they are at incredibly affordable prices! Seriously well done and thank you Elin. My favourite piece is (again not surprisingly) the Sharp Shoes featured above. Love the metal toe, can't wait till I own a pair, but the site won't be shipping internationally till next month. Take a peek at the collection here. It is seriously worth some good 'Ahh'ing and 'Ohh'ing over. xx

Chloe Sevigny

(Image sourced)

I saw this picture only recently and fell in love. I had to share it with you all. Chloe is always flawless but I simply adore this outfit. The button up blouse, scalloped shorts and cream coloured blazer; these are all things I am craving in my wardrobe at the moment, so this outfit for me is ultimate. I would only change the hat because I'm not a hat person (my head makes them look funny) but Chloe still pulls it off. I will try my hardest to do a Look for Less post for this outfit for you guys but it's probably mainly for my own benefit. What do you think of this artwork? xx

October Wishlist

Just a little collection of items that I want, so I can look at them here and be sad that I don't have all of them in my wardrobe right now. And yes I'd be quite happy to be wearing them all at one time.

1. Zara blouse - so beautiful ,I love the metal clips. I have no idea if this is in the Sydney Zara store at the moment or not; someone please let me know.

2. Asos clutch - who doesn't want a big metallic red clutch?

3. Sportsgirl blazer - love the soft mint colour and perfect for pastel colour blocking.

4. Insight shorts from General Pants - this colour is so gorgeous and shakes up an outfit. I can just imagine myself wearing these all summer long.

5. Jeffrey Campbell Darian wedges - I usually stick to black heels but I have to have this gold and silver number. So perfect with shorts. xx

End Of Year Ball

Wearing; Sequin dress from Asos & Novo heels

Thursday night was my end of year aviation ball. I had never been to one previously so I was extremely excited to get all dressed up and see everyone all fancy. These opportunities don't come around often for me. I wore this gorgeous sequin dress that I found on Asos about two weeks before the night. I was so happy that it fitted well and was such a good bargain, except for the sequins making me scratch and bleed, the dress was a dream. Such a good night with excellent company, I'm really blessed that I was able to find such good friends in my course. Yes that is John and I don't know why he is pulling a weird face in that second photo. We have very few good pictures together, so it's saying something that I am putting these up here. xx

Twenty First Season

Wearing; Maurie & Eve top, random skirt, Tony Bianco boots & J-Line Designs necklace

This is an outfit that I wore to a friend's 21st recently. I've wanted this Maurie & Eve silk top for a while now and I'm so happy that I splurged and finally go it. Such a unique style and very versatile. I paired it with this patterned skirt for a quirky and younger feel. I think I'll be using a lot more pastel colours from now on. More on that puzzle in the backlground later.

This year for me is where most people I know turn 21 - except for me I have to wait till next February :(. I love seeing people I don't normally see, especially since its been three years since I left high school. Catching up with old friends is one of my favourite things and I've also found that I've grown closer to the friends that I see most often, if that makes any sense. How have your 21st seasons been? xx

Lita

(Image via Solestruck.com)

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. I've decided that I hate alcohol and it's the devil's juice. Because I'm feeling sad that I missed out on a friend's 21st due to the horrible effects of vodka, I'm going to talk about something that I love and something that I know has been blogged a thousand times before; my Litas. You either hate them or love them, but the Lita is one seriously kickass shoe. With its 5inch heel and 2inch platform, it is surprisely one of the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear. I was genuinely shockled and flabbergasted that they did not hurt my poor beaten up feet once. If I had my way I would wear them to my end of year ball coming up this week; screw the formal dress code. And John is slowly but surely starting to like them after months of resentment that I was going to buy them. They now have almost every colour combination possibly including an american flag print and an awesome red sequin style. It's a shoe that I will never regret buying, and I think everyone should try them on. xx
