January Wishlist - White Leather

For me at the moment, nothing is fresher than white leather. Especially during the Australian summer, white leather just radiates cool. Here are my picks that I long to have in my closet. xx P.s. imagine if I wore all these pieces at once? That would be some inter-galactic shit.

1. Acne leather jacket - the cut is perfect, the details are perfect, everything is just perfect.

2. J Brand leather pants - the super skinny fit makes me think that these will be a good second skin.

3. Senso cadena heels - Aren't these just beautiful? I had such a difficult time deciding between these and my Bertina white boots (will be shown shortly) but I am developing a plan that will ensure these absolute stunners will be mine soon enough. Not long now babies.

4. Alexander Wang Emile bag - the Emile has always been my favourite of all the Wang bags, in white it is especially obsession-worthy.

I'm a little late but Happy New Year everyone! Big plans for this year, big plans. And let's start the year off with some poor quality fireworks photos from the good ole iPhone! But seriously NYE was really good this year, celebrating John's birthday too at a house party overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge which always has the most awe-inducing fireworks. Bringing in the new year with this killer Maurie & Eve skirt (on sale now) that I've had my eye on for a while now. I decided to keep everything simple to really show off its intricate patterning. Ahhh M&E you will always be my favourite. xx

A Kimono Thing

A few pictures from an engagement party I went to in the Camelia Gardens. Such a gorgeous day called for me to try out my new kimono. Totally made me feel like a hippie, I loved it. A day full of hanging with my best friend, champagne and feeding the ducks. Those type of childhood activities never seem to get old. xx

Not the greatest photos, but here's just a little taste of one afternoon spent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I reckon you probably need a good three days here to really experience and appreciate every piece in this labyrinth of a building. Here are some of my favourite works which I just had to take a sneaky pic of. P.s I have no idea how other bloggers seem to take pictures here without anyone else in sight, its near impossible. December/Christmas Wishlist

1. Lover poppy flip dress - the cutest dress to ever exist.

2. Senso Bertina boots - I've always wanted white boots and loved the Bertinas so I figure these are practically made for me.

3. Zimmerman splatter top -  paint splatters reminding me of childhood in a luxe silky form mmm...

4. August Street cain shorts - sequins in the coolest form.

5. Nicholas leather skirt - I've found my perfect leather skirt, come to mamma...

6. The Casual Vacancy - The Potter books are my favourite so why not jump on board J.K Rowling's latest addictive treat. xx

Top Of The Rock

We arrived in New York two days before Sandy hit so during our first day we tried to pack in as much as possible. Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller centre, Central Park & Times Square. One of the very first things we did was go up and see the Top of the Rock observatory and my god it was worth it. Stunning views of all of Manhattan. I mean you know it's big but WOW it is big. Defintely a must-do in NYC, next time I'll be going up there during sunset :) xx

A few things I picked up while in New York. Loving these shorts, they remind me of the Lover ones that I'm dying to have. And these spiked heels that are very like the Valentino ones that again I'm dying to have. Cute little room photoshoot detailing a very simple but classic outfit that will probably become my fall back during the holiday season. xx
