Not the greatest photos, but here's just a little taste of one afternoon spent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I reckon you probably need a good three days here to really experience and appreciate every piece in this labyrinth of a building. Here are some of my favourite works which I just had to take a sneaky pic of. P.s I have no idea how other bloggers seem to take pictures here without anyone else in sight, its near impossible. Top Of The Rock

We arrived in New York two days before Sandy hit so during our first day we tried to pack in as much as possible. Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller centre, Central Park & Times Square. One of the very first things we did was go up and see the Top of the Rock observatory and my god it was worth it. Stunning views of all of Manhattan. I mean you know it's big but WOW it is big. Defintely a must-do in NYC, next time I'll be going up there during sunset :) xx
