Happy Sunshine

Wearing: Bitching & Junkfood shorts and Rayban sunglasses

Today's sunshine and warmth made me want to post these pictures from last summer. Not sure what's happening to my face here, probably ate some sand or something. I do love winter purely for the satorial options but I feel like summer flew by way too quickly. Therefore I am immensely jealous of anyone who is going overseas in the next few months. Damnn you.
I did however get to dip into my memory bank to recount some of my last few holidays for jewelery store Lydali's blog. Head over there to check out some of the stunning pieces and you can check out my feature here. xx

May Wishlist - Stripe Edition

So a massive trend that I have finally come around to is stripes. And thank god I did. Now I want everything all black and white and stripey. Here are a few of my must-haves. xx

1. Zara stripe wrap blouse - twist on the ole regular blouse with a sexy neckline, totally fly like a white guy.
2. Camilla & Marc Navigation Skirt - Yes another asymmetric hemline but they are just so damn good.
3. Ellery Utah Jazz Blazer - stunning. I tried this on but unfortunately (but lucky for my bank account and general state of mind) it just didn't suit me. Still pretty to stare at though.
4. Asos boyfriend beanie - perfect to keep our heads warm this winter. I'm imagining a nice red lip with it...

Melbourne For Mum

Wearing: Zara bomber jacket & jeans, Bassike top, Sportsgirl bag and Jeffrey Campbell everly boots

For Mothers Day, my sister and I took our dear mum to Melbourne for a day trip. We browsed, tried on many shoes, visited the Green with Envy store (suchhh a tease) and had a vegetarian lunch with sangria mmm... Always good to do something different to spice up your life.
I thought this was print clashing again but I have just come to the realisation that stripes are like a neutral and basically go with everything. I will never regret buying this Bassike beauty. How cute is this Sportsgirl cross over bag? It screams Givenchy to me which I'll always appreciate. xx

Pops

Wearing: Sportsgirl jumper, Ksubi shorts, Zara heels, Ebay clutch and Rayban sunglasses

This is probably one of the simplest and best outfits that I can always rely on. The title refers to the little pops that make this ensemble special. Still loving my reflective Raybans :) if you hadn't noticed, I recently chopped off about five inches of my hair. It was a shock at first but now I'm crushing over the new look. Do you like it? I'm about to spend a weekend in Maitland for Groove in the Moo music festival, soooo keen! xx

April Wishlist

(Images Sourced)

1. Bassike bomber jacket - this jacket seems like the ultimate in casual chic wear and of course it has to be white.
2. Asos leather clutch - I love how it's leather and it's not such a crazy out-there animal print, would be a perfect stand out in an all-white outfit.
3. J Brand Orchid jeans - God the print is fantastic. Amazeballs with a (you guessed it) white shirt.
4. Senso Lisa boots - the perfect winter boot with such a flattering cut on the ankle. Ahhh Senso you've got me again in your clutches. xx

Camilla & Marc S/S13 Concentric

Images via Pages Digital

So as many of you budding fashionistas know (unless you live under a rock or Antartica) it is Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Sydney, and I am glued to my Instagram because of it. The week started with the Camilla & Marc show celebrating 10 years in the industry and from their 'Concentric' collection you can definitely see how they have achieved their longevity. My mouth dropped open and I was completely in love. These are some of my favourite looks and only give you a taste of the fabulous tailoring, perfect prints and stunning feminine designs. I love that boxy white dress and the white biker jacket is just divine. This collection inspires me so much and I can't wait till it hits stores. What did I learn from the Camilla & Marc show? Asymmetrical hems are here to stay, leather and lace will always be forever and the fact that I need something with that absolutely beautiful gold print on it. Preferably the jacket. xx
