I never ever thought I would own pointed toe heels. I remember my mum only ever wearing them back in the day and I was always horrified at the sight of them. Lately I haven't really loved anything clothes and shoes-wise, however when I saw these in the shop window, I was inspired. They are not my most comfortable heels but boy, they can make anything look good. What do you think? xx

June Wishlist

1. Shakuhachi houndstooth dress - I love houndstooth and this dress is perfect, also on sale right now = more perfect.

2. ASOS pluto heels - My love for pointed top heels is definitely increasing (see future post). The metal toe cap makes this black pump just that bit more special.

3. Rag & Bone jeans - I've been looking for a good pair of white jeans this winter, just to brighten up outfits etc. Tossing up between these and a cheaper Topshop pair (yes I am very stingey)

4. Sportsgirl gold textured top - Ever since seeing the Shakuhachi gold tee last year I've wanted one. This Sportsgirl one is just as amazing especially with the textured material.

5. Sportsgirl jumper - Ahh yes my love for mint. This jumper is slightly cropped and I can see myself wearing it with oversized tees creeping out the bottom. xx

Structured Casualness

The last summery post you'll be getting from me in a while. Winter is officially here, though unofficially its been here for a while. This is my go-to outfit when I'm feeling lazy and not sure what to wear. It's the epitome of the "structured casualness" that I seem to convey in all my outfits. Did not realise this until just recently when I was trying to define my style sense. Paired with some outrageously out there flats. Do any of you have style equations? xx

Tweedy Citrus Sneakers

So many things I'm loving about this outfit that I decided I'm going to extensively explain them.

1. The coat - I've always wanted a tweed coat and this one had such a blazer like fit that I couldn't resist.

2. The top - love this citrus colour I'm trying to find a skirt in the same shade too.

3. The jeans - these are becoming a go-to in my wardrobe. Very comfortable and super versatile.

4. The shoes - to be honest, I did not really like the Isabel Marant Willow sneakers when they first came out. However when I saw these at Rubi I was inspired (maybe because of the decreased price tag in comparison) and I kept thinking up outfits I could wear them with. Thus they became mine. That last picture was just to show you that it could work with heels just fine.

Printed/Ombre

Picked up this Zara shirt while I was in South Africa and it's becoming a go-to piece in my wardrobe. A good print can always make an outfit look just that little bit more special. I've thrown together some of my favourite printed shirts at the moment to show you guys. Also I tried the ombre nail trend and have to say I think it looked pretty damn good considering I DIYed it, let me know what you think xx

Mint

Had to share with you guys the new items I recieved in the post last week. I finally have quenched my thirst for something mint and these jeans are perfect. I've had this outfit in my mind for a while now and it truly makes me happy to see it finally come to life. After some initial kerfuffles, I finally received this bag from VJ Style and its another thing that's making me happy. The quality is outstanding and it's the perfect size for all my daily necessities. xx
