Blue, Grey & Blonde

(Images sourced from theblondesalad.com)

How amazing is this look from super blogger Chiara Ferragni? I am completely infatuated with every aspect of it, especially the Banane Taipei bag which is now on my wishlist. I think this is one of my favourite looks from any blogger, and I love how it's so casual yet incredibly elegant. I don't know there is just something about blondes and the colour blue that drives me wild. xx

Colour Blocking

I am seeing less of this trend but was still wondering what everyone thought of 'colour blocking' ? Personally I wasn't a big fan. Maybe I'm just scared of the whole concept but I much prefer pops of colour in an outfit. What do you think? xx

Birthday Weekend / Studded Loafers

Wearing; Dotti top, DIY velvet skirt & Topshop loafers

Yes twas my birthday yesterday, yay! 21 years young, I had a party to celebrate and the night was filled with sex on the beach and lemon, lime & bitter slushies, tonnes of food, friends, laughter & speedos and floaties (it was a kids pool party theme). I had an amazing night and let's just say today was not at all productive.

On another note, loving this studded loafers from Topshop. They are about half a size too small for me and every time I wear them it feels like my toes are going to break through the front. But oh well, that's what I get for being stingy. xx

Maurie & Eve Autumn2012

I was absolutely blown away after seeing the new Maurie & Eve collection. It is amazing. I am a relatively new M&E fan after seeing their Liya shorts last year and fell in love, but now I am a dedicated follower. This collection actually excites me and gives me the feeling that I need every piece of their collection. Right now. Especially all the pieces in the Borderline print. These are just a few of my favourite looks, I highly suggest you view their entire collection on their site. You won't be disappointed. xx

February/Birthday Wishlist

1. Maurie & Eve Bowie shorts - loovvvvvveeee these, the print is so simple and elegant yet modern, can't wait to get my hands on them.

2. Forever New silk trousers - even though John hates them, these pants are so comfy and the colour is gorgeous

3. YSL oval arty ring - I've wanted this ring for about a year now and I will get it... once I find it in white, so if anyone sees it please let me know.

4. Shakuhachi skirt - I wouldn't mind this whole outfit but the skirt is what really grabs my attention. The slight asymmetrical length teamed with the beautiful lacy pattern and colours equals pure genius in my eyes.

5. J Brand coated jeans - wardrobe staple. xx

A Cold One

Wearing; Sportsgirl blouse & neckpiece, Miss Shop top, Supre shorts & Topshop loafers

Trying to warm myself up on one of the colder days of this week without having to really layer up. This blouse continues to be one of my favourite pieces because of its versatility. Hope everyone has a good weekend :) I plan to do nothing except sip on margaritas. xx

The Look For Less - Mary-Kate Olsen

I haven't done one of these in a while but when I saw this look from Mary-Kate I just fell in lust. Every piece of this outfit is something I now want so I thought I'd do my best to try and recreate it for you guys. xx

1. Must have these boots from Kurt Geiger. They are very similar to Acne ones I've seen. Asos also does a very similar boot that is slightly less expensive which you can see here.
2. I think I prefer the slimmer look of these
Asos pants, a bit more professional looking and less frumpy.
3. Sportsgirl blouse which is currently in stores. I chose a loose fitting top but a fitted one would work too.
4. Unfortunately I couldn't find a really oversized pink blazer so I chose this Sportsgirl blazer which has a lovely muted colour.

What do you think? xx
